Include directory recursively

By Stefan @stevygee2019-12-02 11:59:46.325Z

I'm using WebP Express to generate .webp versions of uploads (stored in wp-content/webp-express/webp-images/...) The wp2static crawler doesn't seem to find them. I tried to use the "Include additional URLs" option, but it seems to only work for single files. This means I would have to maintain a list of every single image upload, which I don't want to do.

Is it possible to just include this directory and all of its subdirectories and files?

    Hi @stevygee,

Yes, you can try this hook here: https://github.com/wp2static/wp2static#modify-the-initial-list-of-urls-to-crawl

A form of that can be added to your theme's functions.php code or a custom plugin, to insert additional URLs into the crawl list.

Please let me know how you go.

A solution not requiring any coding should be possible in the next version, to include arbitrary directory's files.

    Cheers,

    Leon
